A secure path from device to JD Edwards
Every request to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne follows the same governed path, from the device or app it starts on, through Cantara Cloud, and into your infrastructure. Your own deployment may look a little different depending on your network setup, security requirements, and JDE environment, but the principle stays the same: every layer authenticates, filters, and audits the request before it reaches JD Edwards.

CIP7 is available across three regions: United States, Belgium, and Australia. Choose the region that meets your data-sovereignty requirements, and your access and configuration data stays in that region too, held in a dedicated regional database.
Static outbound IPs
Each region operates from a known IP pool, making Customer Firewall whitelisting straightforward and predictable.
CIP7 Agents
Lightweight software deployed within your network, typically co-located on the AIS server. Agents can also run separately, with more than one deployed as required.

Stateless Platform Design
The Cantara Access Service is now stateless. Sessions are no longer tied to individual nodes. All access servers share state through a centralised memory cache, providing seamless load balancing, higher availability, and improved fault tolerance.
Self-Managed Tenant Portal
A self-service management console where users can register new tenants, manage configurations, and view integrations and activity logs, with no Rinami assistance required to onboard or administer their environment.
Enhanced Identity & Access Management
CIP7 supports OAuth 2.0 SSO and IdP-driven user provisioning, connecting directly with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and other corporate identity systems. Group-based permissions are managed through your own IdP for a single, secure source of truth.
Cloud-Only & Region-Aware Architecture
